I went for a run today… this is the first run since my 1/2 marathon on Saturday. Ouch. I am surprised how much 2 miles hurt after running 13.
Moab (or THE MoHab, as my mom calls it) was beautiful this weekend with temps in the mid 50s low 60s. Perfect running weather. After a cold start at 10, Honey, Hollywood and I finished well within our goal. Good for us. Moab is not quite green yet, but I will be there in a few weeks with my niece and we should have some nice weather by then. It is great to head south this time of year to remind you that spring is indeed on the way!

Up on the mountain (tollgate canyon) we have had some wild turkeys running around. I wonder if any survived the holiday–let me know if you have seen them.

I am not sure if the economic downturn has hit all of you, but I had a 15% off coupon sent to me and I thought I would pass it along.
Just wanted to remind all of my biking friends that the group rides will be starting up soon. Attached is the link to White Pine Touring for thier group rides. The guided are great and they break everyone out into groups based on ability. These are a great way to meet people that share your interest in mountain biking and your level of ability. It is also fun to get a beer after. Cheers!
